QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale (POS 19.0) was Intuit’s retail point-of-sale software for tracking sales, inventory, and customers. Intuit discontinued QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale on October 3, 2023 — new sales, technical support, security updates, and connected services such as QuickBooks Payments have ended. The software still installs and runs locally for in-store sales, but Intuit-connected features are no longer available.
