Two different warranty responsibilities

Desktop License's limited warranty covers the delivered license details, ordered edition, and our installation instructions. Software functionality and the publisher's support or warranty remain governed by the publisher's own terms.

01

Publisher Warranty

The software you receive through Desktop License is published by the software publisher (for example, Intuit publishes QuickBooks). The publisher provides its own end-user license terms and any warranties associated with the software itself. Those publisher terms govern how the software functions, what support the publisher offers, and any warranty the publisher provides on the software. Please read the publisher's terms carefully - they are typically presented during installation or activation.

02

Desktop License Limited Warranty

Desktop License warrants that, at the time of delivery:

1Valid and unusedThe license details you receive are valid and unused.
2Correct productThe license corresponds to the product edition described on the product page you ordered from.
3Accurate guidanceThe download or installation instructions accurately describe how to install the software.
Contact us within 14 days of delivery

If any of these three conditions is not met, we will either provide a replacement or, at our option, a refund.

05

Warranty Exclusive Remedies

The remedies available under this Warranty Policy - replacement or refund - are your exclusive remedies against Desktop License for a defective license, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Desktop License does not offer additional monetary damages, consequential damages, or lost-profits claims under this warranty.

06

Disclaimer

Except for the express limited warranty set out above and any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, Desktop License disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not limit the publisher's own warranty on the software itself.
